The "New Republican Party" has become a bunch of money grubbers influenced by lobbyists to ensure their reelection.
Eiesenhower was a true Republican when he warned us of the military industrial complex.
Industrialists that fed on the implied fear that our country had to spend more and more money to defend our nation against imagined threats.
Does Viet Nam come to mind??
How about Iraq??
Now Afghanistan??
It's all about oil and other natural resourses.
