What did you get into this weekend?

The grass was high, and the boat was filthy so I cut the grass and gave a good spring cleaning to the boat!

After that, I spent a little time working on the boat house hanging rafters......

We have a great group in our Sunday school class, and everyone was over for a BBQ on Saturday. I fired up the cooker about 3:30 AM and cooked a couple Boston butts, a few slabs of baby backs, a couple chickens, and some fresh sausage.

The weather was great last night! Nothing beats some good BBQ, good friends, good beer, and a good Cohiba to keep the mosquitos at bay!

What did you get into this weekend?

We wrestled with sea donkeys as a surprise birthday party with some great friends. Then did yard work to loosen up my aches and pains followed up with grillin fish with friends.

Your shed is coming along nicely. Are you going with a metal roof?

You need to get some fishing time in soon! They're chewing.

    Lookin good...

I rode the beach Saturday. Saw three skittish fish that were not interested in our offerings.

Yesterday was lazy day around the house.

Took the grandsons into St Andrews Bay Saturday and let 'em draw up some blue fish. They had a ball. Got breezy out there in the afternoon and we quit early.

Ran down to the Central part of the State and watched future daughter in law. Graduate college. Drive back. Going down next week end to watch son graduate college. Family time is great but not fishing is killing me a the better half.

Yeah, I saw your report....looked like a fun time!

As for the shed, I think I will shingle it to match the house......and yes, I need some fishing time bad! At least some of you in the panhandle are getting out some......As much as I hate it for me, I'm proud for y'all!

Li that's some serious traveling for a day of fishing. Good for you! It was snotty near shore but at least off shore the waves did spread out some.

I raced in a kayak race on the St Johns. Outward was against the tide and the wind. Everything is an adventure. Did not win a prize.

Then went camping with my RV group. Did not lift a fishing rod. But I did have some shrimp that couldn't be beat and some dutch oven apple chrisp.
