Good luck & be safe!! We ended up canceling our trip down, again, this weekend. Second weekend in a row & third in the last 4 weeks we've had to cancel due to bad weather & rough seas. Just too far of a drive for those conditions. Hoping it's better next weekend.....we'll try again.

It was FLAT Calm on the beach today, but in my case the Cobia didn't cooperate... I did have a friend that caught a 67lb'r ~10 min. after getting in the tower...
There should be NO Commercial Fishing for any fish species considered 'Over-fished' , 'Undergoing Overfishing' or Subject to Recreational Seasons, Limits, or Closures... Game Fish Status IS the Answer !!!

That's what I heard......talked to my buddy who was down there working on the boat & he said it was calm along the beach but looked rough further offshore. Said the water looked real good along the beach.

    On the beach? Nice!

We anchored up on some near shore structure and flatlined some live baits. Lots of chum, lots of chopped menhaden, lots of time. Zero cobes...

May or may not have come home with enough fish for a dinner.
