Just so you know...there is a big influx of Manatee enforcement officers in Brevard right now...Pay special care to your manatee zones and your speed while in those zones....after all, You wouldn't want to kill one with your boat....when we can just wait till they all die of starvation or from eating drift algea. :wink

    Thanks for the heads up Duckman.

    I came off the flats the other day (Sykes Creek) moving pretty slow. Saw a really big manatee sitting on the bottom (still shallow) and he had no intentions of moving. As I drove around him I noticed some fresh new prop marks on his back.
    Probably never associated danger with boats.
