Finger Mullet

Haven't fished much this year. Are the finger mullet back yet?

Can't answer your question but that's a nice trout, what did you catch it on?

I don't think they leave all together. There's certainly not the quantity as there are during the spring mullet runs. I have a few spots on the river that always seem to hold them. Also, they will often go into the canals at night which make it easy to catch if you have access. If you can't find them during the day try at night. Also, areas that have sand bars will be good target spots as they will warm up on them in the afternoons.

Caught that trout in the NMZ on the Space Center.
I like it when the mullet are plentiful and everywhere :-)

Heading to NMZ tomorrow. I hope to get bait before we get the canoe launched. I'll try 528 on my way out.
    Thanks for the input.
