Mantee early or late

Friend and I stopped at the channel bridge Thursday morning around 10:30. Long story short, we watched a Mantee swin into Lake Huntington. It had around 15 big black mullet following it. I was thinking that it would be to cold for them to be this far North. Maybe not, I have never looked for them. It must have been old, had a big half moon bite out of it's tail and some big barnacles growing on it along with a pile of scars on it's back. No fishing reports on this end, have not got the boat wet since last August. Been remodeling a money pit. Fair sailing and tight lines everybody.
