Can I get a FREE Metal Star for my older Penn 113HN 'Baja Special' ???

I read that the older Penn 113HN 'Baja Special' Reels have a Plastic/Graphite Star that was prone to break & this has been replaced by a Metal Star. I just checked my older reel w/a magnet & it does NOT appear to be steel (looks & feels like Graphite/Plastic). Can I get a free replacement metal Star from Penn ??? This reel has seen very little action, but I may start using it more based on the excellent reviews...
