    Live Cigar Minnows or Sardines

Trying to get a report if anyone has had any luck with live bait from Port Canaveral to FT Pierce? I am looking to see if cigar minnows or sardines are around. I was not sure if the water was too cold or when they may move back in or through. Any help is appreciated,

    Thanks

You can almost always find some on the wrecks around the port area

On a popular wreck to the north of PC in 70ish feet of water there have been small (4'') sardines and skads caught on sabiki rigs, Occasional blue runners too.

Sebastian is full of spanish and threadfins. They always push into the rivers this time of year.

I caught a bunch on Tuesday for a charter. They were just outside the inlet stacked up on the bottom. They were a mixed bag of hornbellies, leatherjacks, spanish sardines, and threadfins. Used #6 cheap sabikis.

Make sure your using quality sabikis so that your not changing them after every drop on the wrecks

Thanks for the info, did you use green or red sabikis?
