Push it to the iCloud, pull it down to any iDevice.

Are there other things on your phone that you dont want to sync to Itunes? Just want the podcasts?

No doesn't matter really but what I am TRYING to avoid is syncing whats on Itunes to my phone! That would crush it (the phone).
Once I can verify podcasts and video that are on my phone are in itunes.....i can delete from phone (I only have <250mb left)

When I sync mine, it doesn't sync all my itunes on my laptop to my phone automatically. Wouldn't fit if i tried. If I remember I'll do it later when I get home. I dont think I check/uncheck anything to make it that way.
On the other hand if you want to sync your itunes library to your phone its an additional step/check box/ drag something etc I believe. The first time or two I tried to put a few itunes songs on my phone, I failed so I'm almost positive it doesnt do it automatically.
All that being said, I'm far from an expert on this stuff. Only had the phone a few months, and synced it maybe 2-3 times.
