    Btw, I may be looking for someone to go out with tomorrow. I'm going in my aluminum boat, so as long as that doesn't sketch you out too much and you are under 160lbs let me know.

    damn impressive...so when u dont site fish these things how r u fishing for them? ive yet to add triple tail to my target list...but i here they r great

    We were bumping the boat along the color change and they were laid up every 100 yds or so. To answer your question we blind cast on the buoys and if we find something floating and let it sink 20 feet or so and retrive with small jerks. Small baitfish and shrimp work well. Just when you think they are gonna eat pull it a foot away from him. Once they are good and pissed off they will chew good..

    I'm still mad at trips....broke my first and only custom filet knife cleaning some many years back....they still owe me.
