We were bumping the boat along the color change and they were laid up every 100 yds or so. To answer your question we blind cast on the buoys and if we find something floating and let it sink 20 feet or so and retrive with small jerks. Small baitfish and shrimp work well. Just when you think they are gonna eat pull it a foot away from him. Once they are good and pissed off they will chew good..
