Kings off of Big Pine Key

I trolled off of the reef out from Big Pine Key for about a hour today looking for Kings. I had only brought along my medium sized magnum rapalas and got these two smallish Kings fairly quickly. I think if I had brought the larger sized raps as well, the bigger fish may have joined in. However, landing this size, alone in the boat, was enough of a challenge. Tail grabbed them. They are a nice size to have smoked though.

Fish were in 80 ft to 115 ft. Trolled the mag rap with the green, mackerel pattern @ between 4.8 and 5.5 mph.

Single handed always makes it a bit more challenging. Good job!
