Blade Runners Quick Trip before the Super bowl out of SLI

Headed out early out of Pirates Cove and was happy to see the bait guy out near sandsprint. Picked up 60 baits and off we go. Hit the sand pile for about 45 mins and nothing. Decide to head south to 80 foot and put the spread out. Trolled se and around nine we get our first knock down in 160'. 10#er. Started to get a little sloppy out there so we turn around down by the Loran tower and head back to the inlet. Too wet to go fast so we kept two lines in and trolled in. In 45' we picked up a snake king. Both fish were caught on a pink and white short stubby with a bally. In the oh by the way catagory, that is also what the Marlin in the keys ate too.

I do miss Pirates Cove, when the economy was good, that was a great place... I hear it's trying to make a good comeback... Nice SuperBowl Mahi....
