    Your As Cold As Ice

Made a work trip out to 8400' in the Rocky Mountains. Target species was monster lake trout jigging large style soft baits through the ice. We fished Lake Granby, Colorado for two days.

This is the first time I've been ice fishing in almost 20 years. Very cool experience, beauty and snowmobiling. But, I'll still take a good day hunting redfish on the flats any day!

Biggest fish of the trip went 41.5" and close to 30lb. We used the Hogy 10inch Jigging Series on 1/2 and 3/4oz jig heads.
Same bait I used for grouper and cobia fishing here.

Check out the pics and video:

And I thought I was crazy going out 80 miles into the Atlantic to catch black seabass, at least we had a heated cabin and heated handrails. That's hard core!!!

Awesome catch! But like some others have said, used to enjoy being out in conditions like that, but not anymore.
There is nothing in the world as expensive as that which the government gives away for "free."
