Where in Vero do you stay?

We stay with some family right off 58th ave I believe. I know it's like a 5 min drive to wabasso beach and we went up to sebastian inlet last year when we were there so I'm kind of familiar with that area

On US1, go to Oslo road (9th St SW), make a left an go to the river. There's a small ramp and a parking area there. You can wade in off the ramp and go either north or south for some red and /or trout action.

Thanks for the tip! To be honest I didn't think I'd get so much advice so fast. I just hope we have enough time to check it all out

I actually have another question. Is it worth it to stop at some of the bigger canals? Do they hold any fish worth catching?
