    1/27 Peacocks on the fly

Got with Chris on a tour of south Florida peacock fishing. Fishing started slow, but picked up throughout the day. We fished canals, lakes and little drainage ditches. I threw half my tackle box at them, but wasn't getting anywhere. Finally, figured they wanted a slow and deep presentation, opposite of most advice I've seen. I even managed to catch my first peacock on Chris's fly rod and Chris somehow picked up a snook. Thanks for the trip Chris.
