US1 from Ft. Pierce to Melbourne

Need to head up to Melbourne Sat morning and want to avoid the construction on 95 (will be towing a big trailer). How is the ride on US1 from Ft. Pierce to Melbourne?

It's probably only a 45 minute ride isn't it?
I would definitely take 95 and get the ride over with.

How big of a trailer?
Might be tough to ride US 1 in traffic too.

Trailer is a 40 foot bumper pull and if it matters will probably be hitting US 1 around 7-8am this Saturday

You will be fine. Getting through Vero is the most traffic. Everywhere else is pretty smooth driving.

I almost would just drive A1A instead of US 1. Forsure.

Final destination is 5000 block of N US1.....
