Actually, after grueling months of obscenely expensive debate "most of us" recently voted to re-elect President Obama & rejected MITT THE TWIT's Etch-A-Sketch platform. Nobody from "the center" even ran. The GOP ran a Righter Than Right competition & nominated a Tea Totaler, who preached eternal damnation for tea & coffee drinkers! Definitely NOT a Tea Partier.
The trouble with "the center" is that "the center" is apathetic, ill informed & never lead anyone anywhere. Their instinct is to devotedly follow, but most are lazy & make up today's version of the Silent Majority. IMO some percentage of "the center" gets carved up by the Two Party System & Mass Media labels politically active members 'The Undecideds'. But most in "the center" snooze thru the elections & have excuses for not voting.
Wherever you may actually "stand" your posts "here" certainly have not suggested "the center".
"It would be good for both sides to" work together for the benefit of "most of us" - instead of continuing to pad the nests of the Top Ten Percent, who already made off with nearly everything.
After enough repetitions, even the densest Conservatives can figure out Which Side the Butter Is On, after a while. And it is so very EZ for Regressives to show Progress, b/c they are so extremely Out of Touch.
