It was a slow incoming tide. Other than that I had a few ladyfish, but that is it. On 1/22, I went fishing with my friend Captain Brad from Fully Involved Charters. It was again VERY windy from the north and we had temps hovering around the 60 mark! It was a slow incoming tide all day long. We soaked shrimp under several docks and on a few flats and finally found a few docks with some life under them! Brad had a few snook, one small, one about 22 inches, and we also had several sheepshead. I hooked something that took drag fast for about 8-10 seconds and then it turned and cut my line on the dock post. We tried another dock and found a few redfish( one about 16" and one about 21") and a few black drum. For how cold it was and with the strong north wind, I am happy with our results! I can't wait to return and fish more! I love Florida! I was able to bring my good camera on the boat also, so i hope you enjoy the pics! All fish were on live shrimp and we had to let them soak for a long time before anything would pick them up. Fish on!
