PE 1/26 LIVE BAITING

Headed out port well full of gogs and pilchards went to the
north off the ships put out 2 deep lines and 5 flat lines as
we were putting up the kite a flat line gets hit fish on was
a good fight ended up a 18lb king. Ten minutes latter flat
line again this time a shark . About 30 minutes no bites
flat line again after a good fight we get it close enough
another shark . Decieded to make a move closer to port
since the tide was coming out got one bonita and headed in
.There was a trickle of north current with a north wind so
you ended up stying in one spot.

Thanks for the report... Beach fished with shrimp yesterday on morning high tide push. One bonefish and jacks and whiting on dependable Gotcha... Will be offshore in next couple days when schedule will let me squeeze a half day...

Fishing has ben real tough lack of current and no
cold fronts to push fish down, realy bad two gogs
on kite and no takers.

End January/Early feb is the pits

I went on the catch My Drift (Ft. lauderdale) yesterday with some cousins from Out of town and the ONLY fish that made it to the table was a GIANT grey trigger. One rock hind was caught, and another porgy thats IT. 4 hours, 25 people and 3 total fish

Did you catch the bait in lauderdale or purchase it?

We bought the gogs from t and t and pilchards from lauderdale live bait.
We would rather sleep in than go catch bait.
