    They make awesome brush piles guys just a heads up before you toss yours!

    Make sure you weight both ends if the water is shallow. I once put a couple out (no depth unit at the time) in what i thought was deep water.
    The tops floated up and were sticking out of the water. A nice community fishing spot for awhile.

    I've never had much luck sinking Christmas trees. I've always done better when making brushpiles out of willow branches.

    Personally, I think Christmas trees are too "dense" branchwise, the fish don't seem to be able to get inside them.

    Yep. I sank 14 Christmas trees around the 1st of January in about 20 feet of water. I'm already catching some nice specks off the trees.

    Just so you know....it is illegal to sink brush or anything else in Florida waterways without a permit from DEP.

    I don't think anyone would consider my 5 acre pond a Florida waterway.

    Ahh - DEP what would we do without them as well as manatees? Laws are Great. After all it would just be Anarchy without them!

    We have been tearing up Specks around the christmas trees we dropped!
