finally got my boat up and going again, had to replace the steering cable. me and my buddy went down to marco and tried some night time fishing which i have not done in a while. got to the ramp at dark and made are way out and seen a bunch of people fishing underneath the marco bridge and they had a huge bonfire going never seen that on that bridge but ive seen people grilling under the goodland bridge. anyway are first light my buddy pulled out a nice snook. then continued on the rest of the night catching 6 or 7 snook and a dozen or so trout. all the snook were between 22 and 26 and most of the trout were small with a few keepers. my buddy was using 1/4oz white bucktails tipped with shrimp and live shrimp. i was using live shrimp and flies. i was using my new to me thomas and thomas 9wt. the rod is about 20 years old but cast smooth as ever. i was throwing little white clousers. i had to skip some live shrimp far in the back to get some snook out. i would have been using soft plastics but i forgot that and the camera at home. sorry about the quality of the phone pic its my buddy with one of his snook. he took a couple pictures of me with some fish but they came out crappy. he cant take pictures or run a trolling motor
