My DTV goes out all the time. Thats what I have in Florida. Drives me nuts. Dish is a little better, but their equipment sucks. They all suck.

SOunds like you need an adjustment. or the dish. Those HD dishes are tough having not just altitude and azimuth but a rotation as well. Mine isn't perfect here like it was at my other house but if it's really bad I just switch channel to SD. That never fades but that's not a DTV outage.

I am not down enough to worry about it. If it happens I just use the sling box back to Chicago. I do that alot anyway. My DTV is like 28 bucks a month, seems like I only have about 20 channels.

I had DTV and the one thing I hated was the slight delay changing channels while the it grabbed the signal. Uverse does not have that but lately I have had channels stop working, and when I call they now belong to some package I now have to buy. Between internet and TV its 190.00 a month. My complex has an agreement with Direct TV for basic service of 39.00 a month plus more for premium. The cost may now be a reason to switch back...

I switched from Commiecast years ago for the reasons mentioned. Had Dish Network for a few years, and they were WAY better than Comcast. A couple years ago I got Uverse, landline, cable, Internet bundle, and its been the best of all 3.

Just canceled and went Hulu, and ITV.
The verdict is still out but I feel that I will watch tv rather than the tv watch me. I can also get into quite a bit of stuff with the $200 I'm not paying them now.

Ditto. Have had very few problems with them and the Internet connection seems to be far superior to what other friends apparently have.

They keep telling me to stop sending some things since they only receive in time-delayed snippets until they get the full transfer.
