    Well under 10 for sure - Not to bash but just to help u judge....
    Im calling 6-8 max - But still quite a nice fish on Topwater.....Most 10# LGMs are quite sedentary and will ambush rather than chase at that stage of their lives. This guy went 7#5 oz on a digi scale... Either way you definately landed a HAWG....Grats !

    Lol thanks y'all, I'm rather new to freshwater to be honest! It was by far the largest bass I've caught especially in the ponds around my residence. You guys are probably right, it might not be 10 but I swear it had to be at least 6 or more he was a slob! Thanks for educating me on how the bigger ones bite. I'm trying to learn as much as I can, the topwater has really got me hooked now! I did not measure him but I did take this pic next to my rod and will get back to y'all with a measurement for comparison. Thanks again!Click image for larger version.

    Nice fish.
    Measure from the end of the butt to the end of the cork and let us know that length. We can use that info to make a more informed estimate of the weight. Still a nice fish.
