I bought this combo in 2004 for light saltwater action and heavy largemouth bass fishing. Rod and reel are still in phenomenal cosmetic condition and work flawlessly. Reel has great drag, relatively fast retrieve and hardly a scratch. Rod is moderate to fast and casts a country mile. This combo makes a great weapon for light-medium saltwater duty and can wrench heavy bass from the sticks.
Selling this combo purely because I am running out of room. Cast it. You'll love it.
