I have posted a few reports, but none lately.
Ive been goin out about 3-4 days a week the last few weeks.
Im blessed in buying a house not even a mile from sandsprit, and work starts at 11am, so mornings are my thing.
Anyways heres a few fish from the week
Yesterday i caught 4 snook (within minutes of each other), and a baby black drum.
And a couple days before yesterday i caught a nice 18 inch flounder and a 16 in keeper mutton for dinner (no pics of mutton.. It was getting dark and my 3gs doesnt have flash..)
And a couple days before that my best trout to date.
Went exactly 6lbs on the boga grip, caught in 1foot of water
All fish were caught on atrificials, on my favorite rod (crowder with a 2000 fin nor megalite)
Yesterday i tried for pompano, and skipped a few on the sailfish flats but had no luck with them..
This years pompano season has been depressing to say the least..
Also, ive been noticing all the baby muttons in the river as well as the rest of you guys and feel its a really good sign!
As far as good signs go, i also stumbled onto an area (in plain sight), that was absolutely loaded with nice sized conch. I took a picture, but chose not to post it because it would give away the location and i fear someone would harvest them..
But those conch must be a good sign!
Hopefully i can motivate myself to make some more reports!
If you see me out, say hi to me and my jack russell (Sandy)
This is my weapon of choice
