Are they catching any Mackerel in the bay off of Marathon? I was thinking of taking the kids fishing for them this weekend. I used to catch them 9 miles straight North from Vaca Cut, are they still in this area?

slaughtered the Macs this weekend in the same proximity
you'll do fine..............buying live shrimp in the area is a death trap. $3.49/doz- I knew this so I bought 20 doz at .88 cents in Yellow Bait house in Key Largo.
on the second and third day I had to buy shrimp from The Tackle Box, Big Time & Capt Hook and it was highway robbery. also gas was $4.80/gal at Capt. Hooks
