The last couple times I went fishing, my shimano Stradic w 20lb test got spooled by something big!! So I got this penn defiance and some spiderwire braid , hopefully ill be posting some kingfish and tarpon pics this year

Nice. The benefit of the braid is the line capacity especially if you are pier fishing. The only problem is it will result in many pulled hooks on kingfish
Dang, that is a snook snatcher if I have ever seen one. Lol, I got a few spots where I need something like that.

No complaints, it casts out decently, well worth the $109, IMO
