Finally after months of dealing with house buying, house selling, moving, & the holidays, I was able to get back on the water yesterday. The weather Sunday was absolutely perfect. Sunshine, blue skies, 1 foot in the morning, slick in the afternoon....it doesn't get any better than that! We ran out and secured a dinner of beeliners and seabass then I let the kids spend the afternoon catching AJs one after the other. Two worn out kids, lots of smiles, and a great memory for her friend who caught the biggest fish of his life. As much as I love fishing with my buddies, this is the kind of day I really live for.
As usual we threw back some red snapper.
