    Let me ask you this: if gun control works so well then why are the police in NYC still armed?
    The murder rate has been dropping at the same rate as before the ban even went into place! The ban had no effect on homicides. Since 2001, the crime rate has been dropping slowly and if anything his gun control policies have halted any progress in curbing crime. Again, another failed attempted at gun control...Bloomberg only disarmed the law abiding citizens and made them even bigger targets of sitting ducks

    Its already taxed: firearms and ammunition excise tax
