i had 2 ae-1's with motor drives...
traded them in to keh with some other stuff for a piece of glass...
i had them for 30 years and they both worked perfectly....
unfortunately they aren't worth much and neither is the glass as the eos film and digital lenses have a different mount...

I shot with an AE1-Program all through college and for some years after. Traded it away in the late 80s.
I wouldn't mind having another...if it was free ;)
Free is asking too much. Looking it over last night, there is a camera with 50mm lens, a 70-150 zoom plus a doubler, filters, motor drive and misc. make an offer that will not hurt you or insult me. I might even be open to a trade for a stratic 2000-3000.
Check it out on ebay and see what it goes for. I opted for Aperture priority, while Canon was Shutter, and went with Minolta. Sold all of them to get my first DSLR.

Surely someone is interested in a cheap AE1.. Make an offer
Almost zero market for film cameras. I have two Canon A1's in mothballs. Replaced with a G15 and EOS 7D. In the early 80's the AE1 and A1's were the cameras to have. I sold an AE1 when I bought the A1's.
Maybe you could find a museum that would be interested?![]()
