Naw, I own guns, always will. Just think that regulation of certain guns is within the framework of the 2nd.

The "flint" is within the round itself called the primer but you probably know this.

In all honesty the only real difference between an AK and the picture you provided is the introduction of a magazine

The 2A doesnt label any exceptions, in fact it clearly states the phrase "shall not be infringed"

    Same except completely different. Gotcha.

If they were the same, they would be indistinguishable on the range or in the field. They both put a hole in something. Except one does it a 100 times faster, using a completely different mechanism and ammo.

When star trek laser guns are invented (kill or stun) they are covered by the 2nd as well?

    Same basic principle.

Same mechanism for the bullet to exit the barrel. Trigger is pulled the striker hits primer or flint that ignites the powder that sends the bullet out the barrel down range...

If a laser gun is classified as a firearm or armament (weapon) then yes it would be covered

Silly Peat, you know damn well when the 2nd was created, the government forces had flints. Are you saying we are going to take the M4 away from the guvvies, and give them flints?

No, and the same as not taking away our means to undo a run away government's forces.

The 2nd was for the militia, not the standing army. That is why it said arms, and not arms and ordinances. Ordinances were for the standing army.
