    Bokeelia pier??

The pier in Bokeelia is it worth the trip(8$ that they charge) or is it a waste of time? I'm stuck on land til the gheenoe is finished.

I've never fished there but I heard there some veriety. If anything it worth the scenery and a beer over at Capt. Rons across the street.

google "snook cowboy." I think he fishes out there alot. Seen a video of him pulling massive snook from under the pier. I'm about 90% sure it was bokeelia......

It's hit and miss but you will always catch something there. Sheepshead bite should be decent there depending on tides and moon phases. Anglerondrag sum's it up pretty well.

Its shallow there isn't it? I would wade that area. I don't think its any deeper than 3 ft

That dock holds alot of snook at night. I believe there is a sign that says no snook fishing at the pier tho. I guess there affraid a tourist will get snagged with a hook casting along the dock. I see tons of sheepshead during the day. I would check your tides also because the pier isnt open all night. If your looking for a good pier spot, I would go to cape coral fishing pier or lashley pier in puna gorda, no time limit there and snook fishing is better. imo

I agree with wading I have seen many large snook under the docks to the right I watched some guy one day as I was passing in the boat with a net scooping them up and that was the dock on the far right looks like its falling down
