Never anchor in bgp you will lose it and its not the way to fish there. Bottom fishing is hit or miss the on the closer stuff but the further off you get the better the bottom bite and youll start getting into good size ajs. Last but not least jewfish are out on all the wrecks so if you get busted off a few times beef up your talking and youll be in for a good fight.
