Never anchor in bgp you will lose it and its not the way to fish there. Drift the tide in and out with a eye on the sounder with your rod in hand ready to adjust the bait depth, to keep it in the sweet strike zone. The other eye looking for rolling poons to run over to the path of that school. The last eye you need to watch out for other anglers who are hooked up and are running wherever poons go in bgp. Be safe.

I dont think he wanted to know anything about tarpon. Any rate public numbers are pretty good especially for permit during the summertime. fall and spring run of kings will stack around the ones holding bait with the kings youll get plenty of sharks. Bottom fishing is hit or miss the on the closer stuff but the further off you get the better the bottom bite and youll start getting into good size ajs. Last but not least jewfish are out on all the wrecks so if you get busted off a few times beef up your talking and youll be in for a good fight.
