Last 24 hour recap 1/6/12 (SMOKER kings,Yellowtails, Mangroves, Porgies,Groupers, AJs

I have been super STOKED and blessed that my calendar (dance card) is getting full.
Saturday, I had a group of friends on my boat for a 1/2 day. We shared fellowship and GOOD fishing.
These guys all work out and between the 5 of em we are talking over 1/2 a ton!

Set first runner out on flat and gets SMOKED by a 30+king that we iced down.
Had another king 40+ eat a kite bait and the guys did not want more than 1 to smoke so we released em!! (yeah for SKA boys!)
Had another 30+ we released and kept 2 15lb'rs for buddies grill. Had the bottom rods out and steady action in the S current!
I fished mostly Dodge wall to breakings in 110-130'
Gang Must have caught 50+ fish, AJ's,snappers Porgies, YT"s and groupers. (all groupers and Vermilions released due to season closure)
With 5 guys to tend to I did not really have time to take pics. (sorry)

Had a 1/2 day trip this AM w new client Mike and his son MJ.
They are new to boating and asked if I could teach a bit about bottom fishing.
As the first bait hit bottom bowed up on a nice mangrove 16". Drop again and MJ is tight.
Only fished about 30 minutes when MJ got a lil queasy. Dad asked if OK if we call it early but let me tell you snapper were chewing.
In 30 minutes we had 2 mangos, 2 tails, 2 porgies and released runners, porkfish and even a slippery......

Would you like to learn more about bottom or kite or wahoo fishing? I'd love to help!
Little Bob is off his rocker" waiting for lunch (sauteed yellowtail)

Sounds good Pairadox, I'd love to be back in a "this is worth 5 minutes" situation. Our maiden voyage was SICK and your team of guys is so first class! (plus it's reassuring having VERY competent medical help...)

I soooo need to get on the Go Pro Hero 3 wifi program!
FYI I'm slated to head to West End on a 64' this Wednesday / Thursday and then a 65 Hatty so I should have current data for surgical strike!

Thanks sooo much Bo! In the past 6 days I had New years, Birthday, 10 year wedding anniversary and most important WORK and happy customers!

Little Bob is stoked too because he is a vested partner. He gets a "piece" of ALL the "action" (literally!!)
Now he has to act as referee because Mongo and Daffy want to "muscle in" on his turf!

Good job buddy, especially with the south tide. Waiting for a good day to go bottom fishing, might have to bring a camera for a change (and hope it doesn't jinx me). Buddies Run hasn't seen blue water in weeks...

Still no pomps in the Jupiter area and getting tired of ladyfish.
