Mosquito Lagoon fishing report Jan 2013
We are having spring in January this year and the fish are acting like it . We are having tailing reds all through the day with small groups scattered across the flats . The trout have been eating jigs as well as jerk baits and we have had black drum in the middle part of the lagoon . If its cold where you are get down to Florida with the weather report for the next 10 days to be near 80 degree highs and mid 60s for the lows . I am getting reports of cobia and king fish along the beach so its also a great time to get out and fish the beach and near shore reefs with this warm weather . We have race week and bikeweek coming up in the next two months so we have a lot of fun things going on off the water as well for the non fishing family members .
