    TripleTail Help

Myself and a few buddies are going to give our shot at fishing for triple tail here soon. Can anyone give any pointers?

I know to look around the buoys and floating debree, and to throw shrimp and other soft baits.

Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes they lay flat right under the bouy so just cuz you don't see them doesn't mean they are not there. Once you get a bite start trolling away from the bouy before you start fighting to get the big ones away from the chain.

Any floating grass could hold a fish. Look at everything floating. Dark colors floating attract more fish that light colored stuff. Buckets floating with dark growth and or barnacles are great. Also, try the bottom of the cans with a 1-2oz weight and a shrimp.

I like a jig head with live shrimp hooked in the tail.
