    Flamingo

Hit Flamingo today with my son and Randy. Picked up one redfish on the way to snakebight and a few undersized trout. My son caught his first snook he was dissapointed to hear it had to go back. Picked up one more red and that was it. Looked fishy all day but not many takers. Saw two juvenile sawfish pretty cool but couldn't get any good pictures.

Pretty sure I did see you if you were standing on top of the cooler some of the time and stuck close to the shore

Hi! Im the manager of the International Sawfish Encounter Database and we would really appreciate it if you could take 5 minutes and fill out a sawfish report online. Because these fish are rare we often rely on observations from fishermen to assist with our research. you can reach the form at http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/fish/sharks/sawfish/form.html or you can also contact me at cmcgarigal@flmnh.ufl.edu or 352-273-1978. Hope to hear from you soon! Cheers!
