Doug's Yellar trailer. Good sea food at a reasonable price.

Suggest Mineral Springs in Panacea if you happen to be heading through there on your way to SGI. Try the smoked fish dip - WOW!

Swing through Panacea and stop at my way seafood, they catch their own. Shrimp is pretty much a hit and miss down here.

    Fresh Seafood

If you stop at mineral springs get some of their crab stuffing put in or on a filet of red snapper on the grill or in the oven. Yummy!!!

All the above is good info. Min Springs has the better dip IMOP. All the seafood shops around the forgotten coast have fresh items since they are close to the source. Lynn's in Eastpoint has good stuff to, but their prices are higher than the others. They get a lot of traffic off the island and they take advantage of that. I guess I would to if the traffic would allow that.
But all things considered Doug's seafood trailer right there on the island is great and good prices too. The market has moved to the "Blue Store" (BP station) That's the best cow and pig meat around in the whole area. The stuffed mushrooms are the bomb as BF would say. Enjoy your stay on the island.
