Jax Beach Pier 12-19-2012

Got out of work on the early side and saw clean and kind-of green on Void so I decided to hit up the pier for the second time in like three months. When I got there at 1530 I saw micro whiting coming over in the surf zone and heard about weakfish and baby bluefish with occasional nice cruisers about. I started throwing lead and caught a decent bonita at the T and then the guy next to me caught a nice sheapshead that appeared to have fallen for his jig. That was kind of it then so I headed back down to the surf where mullet and some other bait I actually could not identify were absolutely everywhere, only decked baby blues around there though. Left at 1800, place was deserted.

Those mystery baits were prob sardines they are loaded up right now

Oh yea cool. I went back out today, bonito everywhere. A guy I was fishing with hooked up several but never decked any, he was the only person as far as I know that had any luck of the six or seven of us that were fishing for em this time. Wind did get super crazy though.
