Lake Garcia info

Hey folks, anybody know any info on lake Garcia? Looking to go there with my boat this weekend and do some fishing but i dont know the lake very well. I had a tournament I fished a few months back at garcia but that was my first time on the lake and I was a non boater so I really didnt have to know the geography of the lake. Also the vegetation was moving so much on the lake, it was hard to figure out where your location was. We fished the area call "the pit" and did well but dont know the lake enough to find it on my own. Also any fishing report would be awesome.

Right now it is pretty choked up with vegetation, and when I was there 2 weks ago, there was an algae bloom in the northern areas that were open. We caught some bass, but nothing big.
We had to use the canal on the south end to get to open water, and it's dicey in a couple spots, so be careful!

Lake Garcia in Indian River county ?

very shallow lake, lotsa vegetation , not easily navigated

Yea we didn't get a chance to go out there yet due to the front moving in but hopefully will get out there later this week. I'll let you know how it is with a report.
