2:15: Jimbo Fisher confirmed after practice that Sal Sunseri (so much for my original guess) is also officially hired. He will coach defensive ends and will be on staff for the Orange Bowl.
Said he doesn't expect FSU to switch to a 3-4 from a 4-3, but they will run it at times. Pointed out that they ran it at times this year with guys standing up on the edge.
Said Alabama offered Pruitt more money to stay, but that Pruitt was ready for the opportunity.
Pruitt has three years working with the "Saban system". Sounds like a great hire to me.
Much better than some other guy who might have three years as a DC at some mediocre school.
We shall see.
