    Well crap! Checking the calender I realized I had a dentist appt. set for 4:45 this afternoon. Looks like no slipping away and into a deer stand today. I'll plan on eating supper at the church and making the service from 7 to 8 and then being in a ground blind in the morning and sit a long time to be there during the peak period.

    Soup for cold relief.

    1 qt chicken broth
    1 lb boneless thighs (cut in strips or cubes)
    6 cloves fresh garlic thru garlic press
    1 med carrot chopped
    1 stalk celery chopped
    1 cup water
    1 teaspoon Chicken Better then Bullion (or to taste)
    1/2 tbspn coarse ground black pepper
    1 Tbspn Parsley
    1/2 tspn Italian Season
    Salt to taste

    Everything in pot, bring to boil, immediately turn down to simmer and cover for 20 minutes.

    The longer it sets, the better it gets.
