Me and Leon made a last second plan to hit the Inlet this morning. Met up at B&M to load up on Fiddlers and soon we were off to the Inlet. On the the way down the North rocks we run into Dave(Kajo), his wife and BlackPearl. Dave was hooked up to a Sea Turtle lol. Ive always been more of a Carolina Rig fisherman when it comes to Sheepshead. Leon brakes out some tiny Jigheads and proceeds to wearin em out! I manage 1 decent Fish on the Carolina Rig and soon after im trying out the Jighead method. I really enjoyed fishing for Sheepshead using a jighead. Took a second to get used to it but was a lot of fun. The Bite at our first spot turned off so we headed over to the Southern rocks. Once we got situated it wasn't long before we get a few Decent Sheep in the boat. A short while later Leon brings up this giant Ring Tail! Neither of us have ever seen one this large. Next thing i know we are catching them left and right! Long story short, we end up boating about 40 of these things. Wasn't long before the water clarity went to crap and we called it a day. An absolute blast! Dave and wife, it was good seeing you guys out there today. Glad you all got on some nice fish. It was good meeting you Blackpearl. Way to put Dave on some quality fish!
