I'm confused. I thought the all tackle record was 17lbs, and surely over 31". Everyone I fish with has caught trout over that length. My personal best is 33" and I watched a buddy land a 36" trout. Don't get me wrong, these catches happen about every 2-3 years, fishing 20-30 times annually, but something's not right about this. I know the IGFA adopted a new record keeping program for catch and release that takes length into account, is that what your talking about?
