    Everglades tomorrow

Will be making the drive down to the ENP for some post finals R & R, and debating between the flats or trying to head into coot bay again. Problem with coot bay was the last time I went the water was high and I couldnt find the damn entrance.

Supposed to be cloudy all day with scattered light rain, so itll probably be coot bay. Can anyone offer some tips for the entrance? I thought I knew where it was from google maps but damn if that was it-its was tiny

I'm not understanding how you couldn't find the entrance into Coot Bay. what do you mean? the kayak launch at Coot Bay Pond, or you launched and couldn't find the hole in the trees that leads to the NMZ?

it's a tiny passage at the moment. just head for the SW corner and there's a tiny triangular hole. push yourself thru and then you're good. you could've made it.
