Dec 9 St Aug bottom fishing

Made the run out in great conditions Sunday morning. The bottom bite was good with all the endangered species making a great showing!!

We kept some nice triggers and a nosey cobia. Strangely enough, we didn't get a grouper bite.

We did see some blackfins feeding around 27 miles out. They were traveling at warp speed, so we didn't even try to put out a spread.

it got pretty snotty later in the morning, laid down mid-day for a decent ride back in until the 15 mile mark. At that point the following East wind turned into some kind of Northwest / South combination wind that slowed us down a bit on the end of the ride.

Great job on the Cobia! Always a nice surprise this time of year. We pulled one just inside of BR about a month ago. Obviously there are some still here.

Tight work gentleman, how about that ride in sucked for a good 15 miles! We only managed two triggers A few porgies, and a big false albacore. We stayed inside 20 miles though. How deep was Mr. Cobia Hanging?

We picked the cobia up in about 110'.
Yep, that last 15 miles was a washing machine!
