Today i met up with Sean aka (ChasinTails69) and we decided to explore some spots i havent fished for a long while. We got to the first spot and decided to fish with artificials and on the first cast we were met with a school of jacks singles and double hook ups. Suddenly we were both hooked up with blue fish and a pompano on soft plastics. The bite died for about 10 min and then it was on again but this time we were on a non stop trout bite . Caught limit quickly and we decided to move on to the next spot in search of reds and on the way Sean spots a school of mackerel jumping .So we decided to hit them up and on again we were on amazing non stop bite . Every cast with a white bucktail jig produced a mackerel (19 in total) and we decided to not catch anymore and continue on the way to the next spot but once we arived we were met with a dead tide so we decided to fish the mouth of the river . Anchored and within minutes we were on again with rod bending sheepshead and groupers. After about 20 minutes of rod bending drag sceaming runs we decided to call it a day and head home. Even though we dint find the reds we had an amazing bite all day. Here are some pics of the day...
