Started the foggy day looking for red grouper. The bottom bite was slow but managed a few, a good sized snapper and a banded rudderfish.
Moved to another spot in search of Amberjack and well.... my 75 year old Uncle Joe has been eating his spinach! He hoisted up this monster from the deep. It dwarfed the other AJ's we caught that weighed 28-32lbs. I couldn't weigh this bad boy - it went well past the limit of my 50lb fish grip.
It took two guys just to get him off the deck.
All in all a great day in the foggy mess.
