    Flounder for Dinner

It doesn’t get any fresher. My wife wanted flounder for dinner yesterday, so I took the boat out to Sarasota Bay yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours.

Fishing a red jig head with Gulp shrimp, I caught five flounder of which three were keepers. When I returned home and took the fish off the ice, they were still kicking. One of the little guys actually nipped at my finger as I was starting to clean the bunch.

An hour later, dinner was ready. Fresh enough to jump off your plate sautéed flounder with a lemon sauce and cold beer doesn’t get any better.

    NICE!!!

We have been doing really well on Flounder this season in 4 to 6 feet over sand along side of grass. Best baits for us include DOA 3" Glow Shrimp and DOA Shad Tails on a 1/4 oz. Mission Fishin jig head.

I've also had some luck with DOA white glow shrimp. Do you use any scent on the shrimp?
