    Thanks for sharing Toothy...

    Love this one.

"The team that was 5 yards away from the National Championship? Great. We couldn't even handle the team that was 5 wins away from the National Championship."

The system really showed how screwed up it can get this year. The Big East automatic and non major automatic really weakened the slate.

The link to the Nebraska site was great

The bcs is a mess this year why.......the bcs didnot want the AP playing spoiler with a different #1.......there are at least three other teams that can lay claim to the bcs exclusion game. That is outside of bama vs ND
Here is one case. Uf playing Oregon ducks, kansis, or even OU. UF winning the game inhances its SOS to levels that NO teams level of dificulty pcomes close to.
AP would love to play spoiler if ND did not win. BCS made sure that No team will play a meaningfull game with enough fan fare to cause them any problems.
Pure crap to protect their very failed system.

I just wish they would take the bowl proceeds and divide them evenly among all FBS teams to make it fair to all, then schedule the games like they should be scheduled. No team should be playing on New Years Day or after who is not in the top 10 unless it takes you out to #15 to schedule the games. Furthermore mid conference teams who get beaten by teams that rank in the bottom half of the SEC, ACC, PAC 10, Big 10 should not be eligible for ranking (ie Kent State losing to a 2-10 Kentucky or Northern Illinios losing to a 4-8 Iowa). At least Boise State played and won one tougher game each year.
